<p>Provided are a transmission and reception device capable of processing information while two applications cooperate with each other, and transmitting and receiving information to and from two external devices, a transmission and reception system, a transmission and reception method, and a program. A transmission and reception device in which first and second processing units each having different processing communicate with first and second external devices, respectively, and which transmits information processed while the first and second processing units cooperate with each other to the first and second external devices, wherein the first processing unit comprises a first information giving unit which gives first information received from the first external device to the second processing unit, the second processing unit comprises a first information transmission unit which transmits the first information given from the first processing unit to the second external device, and a second information giving unit which gives second information received from the second external device to the first processing unit, and the first processing unit further comprises a generation unit which generates a command based on the given second information, and a command transmission unit which transmits the command generated by the generation unit to the first external device.</p> |
