An automatic system for loading and unloading containers comprising a fixed platform (4) that is supported on and is parallel to the floor, an extendible fork (5) that may be moved with respect to the fixed platform (4) in the direction of the container (2) or in the opposite direction, sliding means (6) used to slide the fork that is extendible with respect to the fixed platform, goods (1) carrying means (7), pneumatic lifting means (8) used to lift the assembly of the carrying means (7) and the goods (1) themselves arranged thereon and the extendible fork (5), and anchoring and alignment means (9) used to anchor the fixed platform (4) to and align it with the container (2) mouth (3). The extendible fork (5) adopts a withdrawn position in which it is located in such a way that the entire length of the fixed platform (4) occupies the length thereof, and an extended position, in which it has been moved with respect to the fixed platform (4), protruding from the same. |
