PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system control method that can realize supply of visual information with freedom.SOLUTION: In a system control method that displays an object detected from an input image as tied to visual information on the basis of a table in which visual information is tied to objects, when designation of the visual information has been accepted and designation of visual information not tied to the object is then accepted, the visual information tied to the object to be displayed is switched over by altering the visual information tied to the object in the table to the visual information whose designation has been accepted.
