PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a photocatalytic material which has a high water decomposition activity under irradiation of visible light and consists of particles of rhodium-doped strontium titanate fixed onto a conductive substrate.SOLUTION: A method of producing a photocatalytic material which consists of particles of rhodium-doped strontium titanate fixed onto a conductive substrate includes a step of preparing particles of rhodium-doped strontium titanate with particle sizes of primary particles of 100 nm or smaller, a step of adhering the particles of rhodium-doped strontium titanate onto the conductive substrate by electrophoresis and a step of baking the particles of rhodium-doped strontium titanate adhered onto the conductive substrate to fix the particles onto the substrate. |
