<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate image coding.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises: a sorting unit for sorting respective pictures of image data to plural systems; plural coding units which generate streams by coding the pictures of mutually different systems sorted by the sorting unit; and synthesis unit which synthesizes the streams of the respective systems generated by the plural coding units. The coding units generate header information of the streams so that the stream synthesized by the synthesis unit may become normal. This invention can be applied to an image processing apparatus.</p> |
