SOLUTION: A sheath type glow plug for an internal combustion engine includes a housing 1 and a ceramics heater plug 2, a connection pin 4 is disposed in the housing 1, and a second electric contact connecting part 6 of the heater plug 2 is connected to the housing 1 through a supporting pipe 3.
