PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new dielectric resonator which makes a loss low, which is miniaturized, which makes a cost low and which has high spurious performance, and a new dielectric resonator filter. ! SOLUTION: A dielectric resonator 3 includes a cabinet 30, and a dielectric element 1 that is fixed in the cabinet 30. In the dielectric element 1, a dielectric layer 10 and a metallic layer 20 are alternately stacked. The laminated dielectric element 1 has the dielectric layer 10 on at least one of outermost sides.
