PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with a lid which can facilitate holding of the entire container with the lid left attached, and with which one can recognize that he/she is holding the entire container by feeling. ! SOLUTION: The container with the lid comprises: a container body part which is opened on the upper surface and includes a bottom face part and a rising peripheral wall part provided on the whole peripheral edge of the bottom face part; and a lid part which is opened on the lower surface and includes a top face part and a hanging-down peripheral wall part provided on the whole peripheral edge of the top face part. The lid part can fit the container body part within a side of the internal wall face of the hanging-down peripheral wall part to a predetermined depth from an end of the opened upper surface of the container body part.
