PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel which enables a reliable lighting image inspection to be performed. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel includes array substrates having a plurality of video signal lines 1a, a plurality of scanning signal lines 1b, a plurality of switching elements 5 which are connected to the video signal lines 1a and are placed in the outer area of a display screen 9, a plurality of common lines 4 supplying inspection signals which are placed in the outer area of the switching elements 5, and connecting lines 3 connecting the plurality of switching elements 5 to the common lines 4. A material having larger resistance than ether of the video signal lines 1a and scanning signal lines 1b is used for the connecting lines 3.
