PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit that can flexibly detect a position of a defective pixel and correct the defective pixel by solving a conventional problem where defective pixels of a solid-state imaging device only at positions detected beforehand can have been corrected. SOLUTION: In the imaging unit, a solid-state imaging device is provided with a temperature sensor, the imaging unit detects a defective pixel and in a flash memory, a position and an output value of a defective pixel are recorded together with a temperature at the detection as a defective pixel information table. The imaging unit compares a temperature at photographing with a temperature in the table, discriminates the presence/absence of the updated table, and registers the discrimination result as a new defective pixel information table. |
