PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method excellent in manufacturing efficiency for forming an optical waveguide by which multi-fiber connection is easily performed. SOLUTION: Uniform optical waveguides are formed en bloc at the end of each of fibers 11 by irradiating the inside of an ultraviolet hardening resign 14 with ultraviolet light emitted from a high-pressure mercury lump 12 and passed through a tape-shaped fibers 10 of which the incident end is separated from the emitting end of the light guide of the high-pressure mercury lump 12. |
