PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-damping foam which has excellent vibration- damping property, large elongation as well as intensity and which does not have the problems such as a contamination, a vibration-damping member using the foam and its use method. SOLUTION: This vibration-damping foam is obtained by foaming and hardening a foamable composition containing a polyisocyanate, polyol and a water as a foaming agent. The polyol contains, if the total is 100 pts.mass, a polyether polyol having the molecular weight of 400-1100 (especially 500-800) of 75-95 pts.wt. (especially 80-95 pts.mass) and a polyester polyol having the molecular weight of 600-1300 (especially 800-1200) of 5-25 pts.wt. (especially 5-20 pts.mass). It also contains a filler such as calcium carbonate or the like of 30-120 pts.mass (especially 30-100 pts.mass) and water as the foaming agent of 0.5-1.3 pts.mass (especially 0.7-1.2 pts.mass). The density of the foam is 120-200 kg/m<3> (especially 120-180 kg/m<3> ). |
