PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant operation support system capable of preventing a situation from becoming more serious during abnormal time by presenting an alternative operation to an operator when an expected effect cannot be attained from a normal restoring operation.SOLUTION: A plant operation support system includes: an expected effect database 5 for storing a change in a plant state generated in a normal-time operation to plant equipment 200 as an expected effect of the operation; and an alternative operation database 6 for storing an alternative operation for attaining the expected effect stored in the expected effect database 5. When an expected effect of an operation performed by a plant operation part 3 cannot be attained, the alternative operation for attaining the expected effect is searched from the alternative operation database 6, and presented to an operator 300. Thus, even when an expected effect cannot be attained from a normal-time operation during abnormal time, it is possible to quickly perform the appropriate alternative operation, and to prevent the situation from becoming more serious during the abnormal time. |
