Provided is a container with which a site where detachment begins is more reliably established in a fixed place, and thus contents thereof is discharged in a direction predicted by a user, and with which the amount of the contents remaining in the container can be further reduced. This container (1) is configured such that: a container main body (2) having contents (C) accommodated therein and a lid body (9) for occluding an opening of said container main body (2) are sealed by an annular seal part (6) formed along a flange surface (5) of the opening; a detachment seal part (6S) is provided to the annular seal part (6), in a prescribed place, said detachment seal part being detached as a result of an increase in the internal pressure inside the container main body (2) caused by deformation of the container main body (2) by an external force; and the detachment seal (6S) is provided with a reverse annular seal part (6A) which occupies a portion of the width of the flange surface (5), and protrudes towards an inside of the opening in a radial direction.
