PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, a control method thereof, and a program, capable of preventing change of characteristic of a physical stop.SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 calculates a dimming amount of the light incident on an imaging element from an optical member which is caused by a physical stop. By using the dimming amount that is calculated, transmissivity of the physical stop is controlled so that the characteristic of the physical stop does not changes because of the heat that is generated by the fact that the physical stop absorbs the light incident from the optical member. |
