PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice coil motor with a compact structure capable of acquiring large thrust and velocity, and a small-sized brush unit whose operation sound is reduced.SOLUTION: There is provided a voice coil motor including a stator including a magnetic circuit composed of a permanent magnet magnetized in a prescribed direction and a yoke, a movable element supported by the stator in a linearly movable manner, in which a driven member is connected to the one end side, and which includes an air-core coil orthogonal to a magnetic flux of the permanent magnet, and a spring that causes elastic force to act on the movable element in a direction that the driven member is separated from the stator, and a brush unit using the voice coil motor. |
