PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of avoiding a decrease in engine rotating speed due to liquid compression by a variable capacity type compressor.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 10 includes: a variable capacity type compressor 51 which is driven with power of an engine 11; a magnet clutch 50 which is placed in an engagement state or release state so as to transmit or cut off the power of the engine 11 to the variable capacity type compressor 51; and an engine ECU 13 which performs control to maintain the engagement state of the magnet clutch 50 by starting the engine 11 after the magnet clutch 50 is placed in the engagement state. |
