<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high operability in a terminal with restricted number of keys by reflecting a frequency of actual key operations in the terminal with a substantial key function in an SBC system.SOLUTION: With a thin client process with a PC terminal 30, a server 10 counts an input frequency for every input event (key) type according to an execution application, generates application-specific key assignment tables describing the event (key) types in order of descending number of the input frequency, and manages them. With the thin client process with a portable terminal 20, the server reads the application-specific key assignment tables of a managed booting object, and transmits them to the portable terminal 20. The portable terminal 20 displays key assignments K1, K2,..., K5 that are described in the application-specific key assignment tables corresponding to positions of several preset keys 26a to 26e and converts, when detecting an input event of the key, a key code of a default into a key code assigned by a key assignment Km and transmits it to the server 10.</p> |
