PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light-emitting device capable of reducing adverse effect on characteristics of a light-emitting element due to an adhesive for fixing the light-emitting element.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device 100 comprises the steps of: applying an adhesive 12 onto a package 11 using a stamp pin; and mounting a light-emitting element 13 on the applied adhesive 12. A tip of the stamp pin has a stamp surface including a plane part in the center thereof. The area of the stamp surface is about 2.8 to 3.3 times the area of the base of the light-emitting element 13.
