<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently enhance the efficiency of a lighting appliance, in the vehicle lighting appliance which reflects light forward from a light emitting element by a reflector.SOLUTION: A lens 30 for controlling direct light progressing toward a front space of a reflector 24 from a light emitting element 22 is arranged in front of the light emitting element 22. Therefore, not only reflection light from the reflector 24 but also emission light from the lens 30 can contribute to the formation of a light distribution pattern, and the efficiency of a lighting appliance is enhanced. At this time, the light emitting element 22 is arranged in a state that its light emitting face 22a is oriented to a direction in which the light emitting face is inclined to a front side with respect to a vertical lower part, and thereby the emission light from the light emitting element 22 is made not to progress to a reflection region located at a rear side rather than a virtual plane in which the light emitting face 22a is extended in the reflection face 24a of the reflector 24. By this constitution, the lens 30 can be arranged in a position which the reflection light from the reflector 24 does not reach.</p> |
