<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve which can perform flow rate control even at high pressure, and can secure a maximum flow rate, and a damper.SOLUTION: A solenoid valve 1 comprises: a valve sleeve 9 having a hollow part C which communicates with an upstream passage 6b and a downstream port 9c which is opened from the outside, and communicates with the hollow part C; a cylindrical spool valve 7 which is movably inserted into the hollow part C in the axial direction, and has a spool port 7a which is opened from the sideway, communicates with the inside, and makes the upstream passage 6b and the downstream port 9c communicate with each other; and a solenoid 8 which drives the spool valve 7 in the axial direction, and can adjust a degree of the communication of the spool port 7a and the downstream port 9c. A leak clearance for making the upstream passage 6b communicate with the downstream port 9c is formed between the valve sleeve 9 and the spool valve 7.</p> |
