摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary damper which improves the durability and achieves small fluctuations of generation torque, and to provide an opening/closing mechanism of a vehicle door.SOLUTION: A rotary damper 100 is a load corresponding type rotary damper and includes a housing 101 formed into a cup shape. In the housing 101, a rotor 108, which rotationally displaces in an inner chamber 109, is supported by a support protrusion 106 and a plug 113 so as to rotationally slide. The plug 113 is formed into a plate ring shape, and a first bearing part 114 where one end part of the rotor 108 fits in so as to rotationally slide is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the plug 113. The support protrusion 106 is formed into a columnar shape, and a second bearing part 107 where the other end part of the rotor 108 fits in so as to rotationally slide is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the support protrusion 106. The second bearing part 107 is formed so that its length measured in an axial direction of the rotor 108 becomes longer than a length of the first bearing part 114.</p>
