The present invention is equipped with: a display panel (53) that displays a medical image; an as-seen output terminal (54) that enables output of a video signal that reflects the same color settings values as the color settings values reflected with regard to the medical image displayed on the display panel (53); a communication means (56) that detects instrument information related to an external instrument connected to the as-seen output terminal (54); and a second color settings reflecting means (52) that enables control of further alteration, on the basis of the detection results from the communication means (56), of the color settings values reflected in the video signal that is output from the as-seen output terminal (54).
