<p>The present invention relates to a gateway constituting a network. More particularly, the present invention relates to a gateway capable of preventing an erroneous operation in a network including at least two different communications protocols and being efficiently operated and a method for controlling the same.The method for controlling the gateway according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: receiving a message from a first network; determining a target network of the message with reference to a first table; determining a target node and a protocol in which a frame format will be converted when the determined target network is a second network including a first node according to a first protocol and a second node according to a second protocol; converting a frame format of the message into a frame format corresponding to the target node among frame formats according to the first protocol and the second protocol according to the determined protocol; and transmitting the frame format converted message to a port according to the second network.</p> |
