<p>Applicant has discovered that compositions comprising piezoelectric and pseudo- piezoelectric materials, catalysts, pure conducting powders and conducting adhesives can be used for improving the efficiency and performance of internal combustion engines. Certain vibrations such as mechanical and electrical vibrations can also be reduced by the application of EPCT–Enhanced Piezoelectric Crystal Technology–devices, in particular when used on bridges. Applicant therefore provides methods, processes and devices comprising a piezoelectric material of a predetermined mesh size; a conductor material and catalyst of a mesh size similar to the predetermined mesh size; and a capsule or housing for packaging a composition of the above piezoelectric material, catalyst and the conductor material; wherein mechanical vibrations or movements do not cause substantial separation of the composition–such device being capable of improving the efficiency of internal combustion engines and/or reducing vibrations on bridges.</p> |
