The present invention relates to an automated marine core sediment sample optical photographing system and a photographing method thereof. More specifically, the method includes the steps of: photographing method thereof: cutting long core sediment having a length from 1 meter to tens of meters to a specific length; containing a sample in a sample tray on which a length measurement unit is formed; a control unit photographing the sample by an automatic moving camera taking divided images in x, y, and z directions; synthesizing photographed divided images based on the dimension measured by the length measurement unit without errors in an accurate location; and obtaining the accurate image. |
