PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear box in a novel structure.SOLUTION: A gear box 17 comprises a gear box body 18 of a reduction gear to which a motor is mounted. The gear box body 18 includes: a worm wheel accommodation part 22 in which a worm wheel of the reduction gear is accommodated; and a motor accommodation part 24 in which a part of the motor is accommodated and which includes a motor mounting opening 20. In the motor accommodation part 24, a bottom of the motor accommodation part is provided in an area between a straight line L1 which passes a center C1 of the worm wheel accommodation part 22 and is orthogonal with an axis X of a motor shaft, and a straight line L2 which is a tangential line passing an outer edge 26a of a circular outer peripheral wall 26 of the worm wheel accommodation part 22 closer to the motor and is orthogonal with the axis X of the motor shaft. |
