PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide-out door opening and closing device capable of securing safety of a passenger when a door is opened and closed.SOLUTION: A slide-out door opening and closing device 10 includes: a slide-out door 11 which is installed on a side face of a vehicle 20 and opened by being slid in a vehicle front-rear direction after being projected out in a vehicle width direction; a driving mechanism 12 which drives the slide-out door 11; an electronic control unit 13 which controls the driving mechanism 12 so as to open or close the slide-out door 11; and a door base-side pressure switch 27 which is provided on a door base side 23 of the slide-out door 11 and outputs a signal when applied with pressure. The electronic control unit 13 controls the driving mechanism 12 so as to stop the slide-out door 11 from moving forward or to reverse the slide-out door 11 after the stop of the forward movement according the relation to an opening/closing operation of the slide-out door 11 when receiving the output signal of the door base-side pressure switch 27 during opening or closing of the slide-out door 11. |
