PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing a glass plate high in flatness and smoothness in a planar part and having a bent part.SOLUTION: A flat glass plate 20 is radiation-heated with a first part 21 of the flat glass plate 20 being clamped by first and second heat insulation materials 31 and 32. Then, the first part 21 of the glass flat plate 20 is so pressed by using a press tool while being clamped by the first and second insulation materials 31 and 32 that the thickness of bent parts 14 and 15 may be substantially equal to the thickness of a planar part 11, thereby to bend second portions 22a and 22b of the flat glass plate 20, which are not clamped by the first and second heat insulation materials 31 and 32 of the flat glass plate 20.
