PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device in which merchantability can be improved while keeping an aesthetic appearance.SOLUTION: A HUD device 1 includes: a display 20 that emits display light L for displaying a display image; a combiner 50 that has a depression surface 50a where the display light L emitted from the display 20 enters, and collects the entering display light L and causes an observer 2 to visually recognize the display image overlapped with a background in front from the depression surface 50a side; and an optical sensor 31 that is disposed opposed to the depression surface 50a and detects brightness of external light N1 entering transmitted through the combiner 50. |
