PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rectangular light emitting part which is improved in the unevenness of luminance, and uniformly of substantially uniformly emits light, in a vehicle headlamp using an optical fiber.SOLUTION: A vehicle headlamp comprises: an optical fiber bundle 76 which includes a core 22 including an incident end face 22a to which light from a corresponding laser light source 12 out of a plurality of laser light sources 12 is made incident, and an emission end face 22b from which light introduced from the incident end face 22a is emitted, and a clad 24 which surrounds the core 22, and is constituted by bundling a plurality of optical fibers 14; a wavelength conversion member 16 which receives the light emitted from the respective emission faces 22b of the plurality of optical fibers 14, and converts a part of the light to light having a different wavelength; and an optical system which is constituted so as to form a prescribed light distribution pattern by projecting a light source image of the wavelength conversion member 16. The emission end faces 22b of the plurality of optical fibers 14 constitute an emission end face group 76a whose external form is rectangular or substantially rectangular on the substantially-same plane, and the wavelength conversion member 16 is arranged at the emission end face group 76a in an adjoined state. |
