<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display unit capable of easy and intuitive operation of a page picture or its file displayed on a subregion on a display screen and an operation method for the same.SOLUTION: A picture display unit includes: a display 114 for displaying a picture; a detector 112 for detecting a position specified by an operation for specifying the position on the displayed picture; and furthermore the display includes a file operation unit 102 displaying a page picture generated from the file to a subregion of the display, operating the file in accordance with the change in position detected by the detector when the position first detected by the detector in the state of having the position not detected is positioned outside the subregion, the specified position is changed while having the specifying operation for the position maintained and the position is no longer detected by the detector. Thus the user can operate the displayed page image or the file for the same easily and intuitively.</p> |
