<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception device, a transmission device, and a transmission and reception system which are highly convenient, with lower costs.SOLUTION: The receiving device according to one embodiment, which receives a stream transmitted from the transmission device connected via an MHL cable based on an MHL standard, comprises: plural HDMI terminals having the MHL cable connected thereto; an MHL processing unit for signal processing of the stream inputted to the HDMI terminals, on the basis of the MHL standard; and a switch which, on the basis of whether or not the MHL cable is connected, switches the interconnection between the HDMI terminals and the MHL processing unit.</p> |
