<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery having an electrode assembly smoothly inserted into a case.SOLUTION: A secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly; a case for housing the electrode assembly; a cap plate combined with a case opening; an electrode terminal provided on the cap plate; a lead tab for electrically connecting the electrode assembly to the electrode terminal; and a retainer provided inside the case and combined with the lead tab and positioned between the lead tab and the case. The retainer includes an insertion guide unit that inclines toward the electrode assembly in a manner to be adjacent to the electrode assembly and extends to a direction farther from the cap plate.</p> |
