<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of an insulation medium caused when an optical fiber temperature sensor measures the temperature inside a transformer.SOLUTION: A transformer inner temperature detector includes: optical fiber temperature detection means disposed in a transformer tank, which has a temperature-sensitive part at one end thereof for allowing a beam of light to enter from the other end and to reflect the light at the temperature-sensitive part to obtain a beam of reflected light having a wave length which depends on the temperature inside the transformer, and which transmits the reflected light from the one end to the other end to obtain an optical signal on the basis of the reflected light; and signal processing means disposed inside the transformer tank for converting the optical signal into an electrical signal. The transformer inner temperature detector further includes: transmission means disposed inside the transformer tank for, after converting the electrical signal into an electromagnetic wave, transmitting the electromagnetic wave to the outside of the transformer tank; reception means disposed outside the transformer tank for receiving the electromagnetic wave transmitted from the transmission means; and a power source disposed inside the transformer tank for driving the signal processing means and the transmission means.</p> |
