<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit protection device having a sufficiently fast response.SOLUTION: A circuit protection device includes: substrates 112 and 116 being stacked; a conductive layer having a first terminal and a second terminal and disposed on the substrate 116; a conductor 120 electrically connecting the first terminal and the second terminal, forming a closed circuit between the first terminal and the second terminal, and disposed on the substrate 116; a low-melting material disposed between the conductor 120 and the first terminal and between the conductor 120 and the second terminal; a resistive element disposed on the substrate 112; and a spring 122 moving the conductor 120 by applying force to the conductor 120 to create an open-circuit between the first terminal and the second terminal during an abnormal circuit condition when the resistive element heats the low-melting material, and disposed on the substrate 116.</p> |
