PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a complication of a program installed in a control apparatus while suppressing waste of a recording medium.SOLUTION: A host computer has a registration device driver DD1 and a control device driver DD2 installed therein. The registration device driver DD1 has a function for generating a control command C1 for instructing the registration of a fixed image in an inkjet printer in response to an input of information associated with the fixed image from an application AP, and outputting the control command C1. The control device driver DD2 generates a control command C2 for instructing printing executed by overlapping a variable image on the fixed image registered in the inkjet printer 5 in response to an input of information associated with the variable image from the application AP, and outputting the control command C2. The application AP calls out either of the device drivers in accordance with processing.
