<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of stably circulating a refrigerant in a low capacity region even when a single refrigerant of R32 is used as the refrigerant.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 comprises: a compressor 5; an outdoor unit 2 having an outdoor heat exchanger 6 and an electronic expansion valve 10; an indoor unit 3 having an indoor heat exchanger 12 and an air blowing fan 14 (air blowing means); refrigerant piping 4 connecting between the outdoor unit 2 and the indoor unit 3; and an outdoor control part 11 (control means) controlling the flow rate of a refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant piping 4 by controlling the opening of the electronic expansion valve 10. The air conditioner uses a single refrigerant of R32 as the refrigerant and can operate at a minimum capacity of 1 kW or less in cooling operation or heating operation. A bore diameter of the electronic expansion valve 10 is set in a range of 1.2 to 1.4 mm.</p> |
