PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sulfide-based solid electrolyte by which the composition of elements of the sulfide-based solid electrolyte can be controlled with high accuracy. ! SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a sulfide-based solid electrolyte comprises: a first step in which a sulfide-based solid electrolyte precursor is produced by bringing alkali metal sulfide into contact with sulfide, or an alkali metal into contact with elemental phosphorus and elemental sulfur in solvent; a second step in which analysis is performed on the composition of elements of the sulfide-based solid electrolyte precursor; and a third step in which additional alkali metal sulfide or sulfide is added to the solvent to bring the added alkali metal sulfide or sulfide in contact with the sulfide-based solid electrolyte precursor. !
