PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound healing agent which suppresses bacterial growth, promotes granulation tissue formation and epithelization, and suppresses secondary hemorrhage. ! SOLUTION: Provided is a wound healing agent comprising a protein (A) having a GAGAGS sequence (1) and the following amino acid sequence (X) and/or the following amino acid sequence (X'), and water, wherein a ratio of a total of a β turn structure and a random coil structure in (A) measured by circular dichroism spectrum method is 40 to 60%, a ratio of a total of a number of amino acids in all (X) and a number of amino acids of all (X') to a total number of amino acids in (A) is 5 to 45%, and a ratio of a number of amino acids in all the sequences (1) to a total number of amino acids in (A) is 40 to 80%.
