<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a program from not being video-recorded for a time required for recording initialization at video recording in the case of video-recording the temporally consecutive program using a reservation video recording function. <P>SOLUTION: A video recording and reproducing apparatus 1 has a micro computer 113 that operates if two consecutive recording reservations are set in a timer computer 114, to process the two recording reservations by considering a period from the start of the earlier reserved recording to the end of the succeeding reserved recording to be a single recording operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
