PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment method and a device therefor in which sludge is flocculated by two-stage stirring steps in which rotary speeds are different using a polymer flocculant, thus the content of a dewatered cake is reduced to more reduce the amount of waste, and further, the using amount of the polymer flocculant can be reduced.SOLUTION: The sludge treatment method comprises: a first stirring step A of adding a first polymer flocculant to sludge as the object to be treated, the same is subjected to high speed stirring, and mixing is performed; a second stirring step B of further adding a second polymer flocculant thereto, and preforming slow speed stirring to form a flocculated flock; and a dewatering step of dewatering the sludge including the flocculated flock, and a dewatering auxiliary is added at least in one of the first stirring step, the second stirring step and the dewatering step. |
