PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which uses a passive tool to plot marks drawn on a writing medium, by utilizing a physical quantity representing the pressure exerted on the tip of the passive tool.SOLUTION: The system comprises: a tool (4) including a first permanent magnet mechanically linked to a tip and a second permanent magnet; a network of magnetometers having N triaxial magnetometers (M); and a computer (32). The computer: determines, from the measurement results from the triaxial magnetometers, the positions of the first and the second permanent magnets and the orientations of the magnetic moments of the two permanent magnets; and calculate, from the determination results, the relative position of the first permanent magnet in relation to the second permanent magnet and/or the relative orientation of the magnetic moment of the first permanent magnet in relation to the orientation of the magnetic moment of the second permanent magnet. The calculated relative position and/or orientation is then used as a value of a physical quantity representing the pressure exerted on the tip. |
