PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic blood model which can simulate the oxygen saturation of a human body in photoacoustic wave diagnosis and is suitable for accuracy control and calibration of a photoacoustic wave diagnostic apparatus.SOLUTION: The photoacoustic blood model contains two or more kinds of light absorbing compounds in a blood model base material, in which the absorption coefficient ratios μ[λ]/μ[λ] at arbitrary two wavelengths λand λ(λ<λ) of 600 nm or more and 1100 nm or less of the compounds are different from each other and the parameter S calculated from Equation (1) is 0 or more and 100 or less, in which HbO[λ] indicates an absorption coefficient of oxyhemoglobin at the wavelength λ, HbO[λ] indicates an absorption coefficient of oxyhemoglobin at the wavelength λ, Hb[λ] indicates an absorption coefficient of deoxyhemoglobin at the wavelength λ, Hb[λ] indicates an absorption coefficient of deoxyhemoglobin at the wavelength λ, and P' indicates a ratio (P/P) of a photoacoustic signal intensity Pobtained by irradiation with light of the wavelength λto a photoacoustic signal intensity Pobtained by irradiation with light of the wavelength λ. |
