PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide therapeutic agents capable of affecting RAMP-CLRL interaction.SOLUTION: The invention relates to agents that modulate the effect of a RAMP (receptor activity modifying protein) on a calcitonin receptor like receptor (CRLR). The invention also includes methods and uses of such agents, and assays for identifying such agents. The agents disclosed in the specification can be used in the treatment of, e.g., cancer, obesity and other disorders. |
