PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller using a PMSM for driving a vehicle capable of obtaining a predetermined torque corresponding a torque instruction according to a variation in inverter DC voltage and switching to a weak magnetic flux control.SOLUTION: The motor controller controls a motor which is driven with the power supplied from an invertor to obtain a torque corresponding to an input torque instruction value. A current instruction generation section determines a current instruction to output a torque according to the torque instruction so that a loss including a copper loss and an iron loss is the minimum based on the speed and DC voltage applied to the invertor.
