<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore a fixing belt to the radially outside smoothly, to prevent wear of a cap member and an elastic member.SOLUTION: A fixing apparatus includes a fixing belt 21, a cap member 33 to be fixed to an end of the fixing belt 21, and an elastic member 34 to be interposed between the fixing belt 21 and the cap member 33. The cap member 33 includes a body section 61 covering the outside in a rotation axis direction of the fixing belt 21, and a flange section 62 covering the radially outside of the fixing belt 21. The elastic member includes a belt insertion section 76 where the fixing belt 21 is inserted, a cap insertion section 77 where the flange section 62 is inserted, and a contact section 78 to be brought into contact with an inside surface in the rotation axis direction of the body section 61. When the fixing belt 21 is deformed radially inward, the elastic member 34 is elastically deformed so as to move the belt insertion section 76 radially inward with respect to the cap insertion section 77. A gap is formed at least a part between the inside surface in the rotation axis direction of the body section 61 and the contact section 78.</p> |
