PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a reagent for labeling iPS cells which enables observation over a long period of time also after an implantation without showing a cytotoxicity in cell growth and differentiation, and to provide a method for labeling iPS cells stably and efficiently using the reagent for labeling.SOLUTION: The iPS cells are labeled using a reagent for labeling induced pluripotent stem cells comprising a mortalin binding substance and a marker substance binding thereto.
