摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion engine control device capable of preventing the amount of PM discharged into the atmosphere from greatly increasing in a case of a failure of a particulate filter while keeping fuel consumption, running cost, etc., proper by performing combustion control using a heat generation rate gravity center position.SOLUTION: A combustion engine control device (hereinafter referred to as the present device) is applied to an internal combustion engine 10 which has a particulate filter 54 arranged in an exhaust passage. The present device changes a combustion parameter (for example, main injection period) capable of changing a combustion state so that when it is not determined that the particulate filter gets out of order, "a heat generation rate gravity center position as an index value indicative of the combustion state" is equal to a certain reference crank angle without reference to a load, and when it is determined that the particulate filter gets out of order, the heat generation rate gravity center position is equal to "a first advance crank angle on an advance side with respect to the reference crank angle".</p>
