An optical film according to the prevent invention comprises a block copolymer hydride [2] in which all unsaturated bonds of a block copolymer [1] are hydrogenized. The block copolymer [1] comprises two or more of a polymer block [A], which has an aromatic vinyl compound-derived repeat unit as the main constituent, and one or more of a polymer block [B], which has a linear conjugated diene compound-derived repeat unit as the main constituent. When the weight fraction for the total of each polymer block [A] [B] within the entire block copolymer body is expressed as wA and wB, (wA:wB) is 40:60-80:20. In the optical film, the height from the apices of adjoining peaks in a die line, which is formed in the film length-direction, to the bottoms of troughs in the same is equal to or less than 100nm of the whole surface of the film, and the incline of a film-surface die line is equal to or less than 300nm/mm of the whole surface of the film. The present invention provides an optical film exhibiting few surface defects. |
